The First Eight Hours
I worked for about eight hours yesterday and afterwards called Richard-the landlord for the Monroe Manor on Garden Street. I'm meeting with the fellow at the manor today at five but I'm unsure as to what might happen after that. I paid this months rent which has left me with $13.07 (something that I'm not proud of) and I'm slowly waiting for next month when I get paid for my current wages. So, in a couple weeks I'll be fine on money and so far the plan for the Summer is to hardly spend anything. I'm going to travel between here and Seattle as well as the San Juan to visit my sister but that's about it. Oh, yeah, one trip to the Tri-Cities.
In any case, last night I met Wendy, she recently graduated with a degree in Sociology and is a friend of Susan-my co-worker's/roommate's girlfriend. She seemed like a pretty cool gal (probably 26); she seemed interested in neurology stuff when/after I started talking about head chemicals regarding affection. Matt and our (my new) roommate Jeff came in from a trip to the beach and joined in later conversation and this was going until I decided to go to bed at around 12:41 but instead stayed up and helped Amy with her website stuff and talked to her on the phone until close to 2:00. I feel like I'm in friend making mode but with a feeling of something I can't describe, but it's not pleasant.
Something else I did yesterday was get all of my shit settled into my new room. Today I'll probably conjure up some time to finish that damn webcomic strip/page I started at the beginning of this month and hopefully sketch out the site. I have to do some mentioning of a band I interviewed in Seattle on Saturday and mention a television program that they're featured on. CBS 5 contacted me about the show and asked me to mention it on my site but whether or not they will reciprocate this favor is unknown to me (I haven't heard anything yet) but I'm mentioning the show just in case and I'm also a nice guy. The show is on the 21st and broadcast in Seattle, but the station is in San-Fran. Kind of weird. I just need some attention/traffic drawn to the site and would like some help with this. I need a big break.
